This cake was for a little girls dance recital. The mother did not want fondant anything and wanted the whole cake to be edible. I used twinkies for the slippers and fluffy homemade white icing for the ribbons and swirils. The only non-edible portion of the cake are the laces on the shoes which are actual ribbons.
